Season of Discontent

In the course of talking with several Chrisitian coworkers, acquaintances and friends over the past 18 months there seems to be an all to common set of themes running through everyones lives; discontentment, change and fatigue. These themes appear in peoples personal lives, work lives and spiritiual lives. For those of us in Northwest Florida hurricane Ivan these themes seem to have been amplified since hurricane Ivan came for a visit. Part of me wonders if these themes seem worse than they really are since the majority of us have lived lives of relative safety, security and peace with turmoil only being generated when we make an unwise choice. I just do not know.
