Hidden craftsmanship

Our FCC family is finally getting our auditorium & education building renovated 10 months after hurricane Ivan visited our fair city. Our auditorium ceiling needed to be taken down and replaced and in the process some very nice steel & timber framing was discovered, http://www.firstcitychurch.org/renovate01.htm. It really is a thing of beauty and is a testament to the construction practices and workmanship around the 1930's. The interesting thought is that for the past few years I have sat in the auditorium and looked up at a suspended ceiling that was waterstained, damaged and had not known what a fine bit of workmanship lay behind it. But isn't that the case with so much of our world around us. God's glory hidden by the decaying efforts of man.

Try to take time today to discover Gods glory in all that you see.
