AFL-CIO in ther news

As I was driving home from work today I heard an announcement how 2 groups were seperating themselves from the AFL-CIO (America Federation of Labor - Congress of Industrial Organizations) The Teamsters 1.4 million members and the Service Employees International Unions 1.8 million members represent represent quite a large chunk of the estimated 13 million AFL-CIO membership. It will be very interesting to read & hear the comments tonight and tomorrow by both the left & the right.
