Last night the Gulf Breeze Lady Dolphins defeated the Bishop Kenny Crusaders 1-0 in what was, in my opinion, one of the most physical matches our girls have played all season. The Pensacola News Journal has a pretty good article with pictures about the victory. Jacksonville.Com also had a small summary about the match. The Lady Dolphins were able to move the ball well and take numerous shots however the Crusader defense played great taking away the close shots and their goalkeeper made several really nice saves.

The next match will be the 4A state semi-final match this coming Friday at 5pm EST against Ft Myers Cypress Lake High School at Lockhart Stadium in Ft Lauderdale, Fl.
