Mothers Day 2005

Well, it is Sunday the 8th of May 2005 and Tammy, the girls and I are in Metairie, La visiting with family. Yesterday morning we went and watched little George play baseball. I really enjoy watching litle kids play sports. The enjoyment and excitment they display is infectious.

Also yesterday we went down to 7th & Camp St Church of Christ and celebrated several birthdays and enjoyed some crawfish. I took a short walk to Magazine St, http://www.magazinestreet.com/, and was impressed with the development of the area. The Salvation Army shutdown/moved 3 years ago and several coffee shops and stores moved in. I saw quite a few college aged students enjoying their WiFi access and a cup of coffee in an outside cafe.
